Position Overview:
Function as Sales Representative, specializing in equipment sales. This staff position will develop sales programs for all accounts in addition to developing work-with schedules with Sales Representatives and Sales Managers.
We passionately serve customers in the JanSan, Foodservice, and Industrial Packaging markets, delivering the right products and solutions to ensure their businesses are more successful everyday.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for attaining quotas of equipment sales.
- Plan and execute objectives for major account penetration, emphasizing equipment.
- Perform demonstrations and present equipment to customers.
- Assist in equipment inventory levels and control.
- Maintain equipment demo vehicle.
- Develop new accounts and work with divisional sales management to assign accounts to proper sales representatives.
- Develop sales with new equipment products introduced.
- Develop new markets and uses for existing equipment products.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to drive to customer locations.
- Previous sales or customer service experience.
- Ability to work independently and build strong relationships.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and Outlook e-mail platform.
- Training abilities to enhance customer knowledge.
- Janitorial supply or related industry experience preferred.
- Ability to occasionally travel overnight.
- Flexibility in schedule for after-hour customer demos.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
