We are actively seeking an Intake Coordinator who is responsible for managing and implementing systems, particularly inquiry/intake calls, client screenings and admissions. You will be the "voice" of the company for all patients and will be responsible for the first impression we make.

To be successful in this role, you'll be responsible for the following:
-
Receives and analyzes incoming referral calls.
-
Efficiently and accurately enter referral and learner contact information in Central Reach intake system.
-
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources, agency office staff, and care managers.
-
Serve as primary contact for coordination of learner care
-
Fax/ maintain documents needed for admission
-
Schedule and complete tours at all Autism 360 clinic locations, promoting the agency image, mission, and programs
-
Maintain Learner Waitlist
-
Manages all incoming faxes and other assigned online referral systems in a timely manner.
-
Acknowledge referral sources by making and maintaining relationships and reaching out on regular intervals to update on their referred Learners
-
Maintain tracking log for pending Learners, determines when openings can occur along with senior leadership team

Maintain respect and confidentiality for all Learners

Coordinate on-boarding Learner schedule & availability
-
Coordinate new staff on-boarding process with HR Department to coincide with Learner start dates
-
Market services to community locations (physicians, community outreach programs, schools, etc).

Drive Learner referrals and agency growth initiatives
-
Establish and maintaining Learner records, ensuring all documentation is initially received, renewed when needed, and available for all insurance audits

Coordinate Learner medication needs and staff training with agency nurse
-
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies

Education and/or Experience Required:
-
Must be at least 18 years of age
-
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
-
A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred.

Additional certification as a special education teacher, training in ASD, ADHD, or behavioral disorders preferred.
-
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs.

Perform general clerical duties including maintain accurate client records and preparing clear and concise reports

Communicate effectively in both oral and written form with a diverse group of clients, parents/caregivers, school personnel, and other agency staff

Use a computer to prepare documents and maintain client records

Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines

Follow guidance from senior level staff to enhance own professional development

Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful manner
