Job Description: The National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA) is seeking candidates 55 years of age and older for the position of Budget Support Specialist with the U.S. EPA Senior Environmental Employment Program (SEE), with the EPA Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights (OEJECR).
This position offers a hybrid schedule of in-person and telework.
General Summary: The Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights seeks a SEE enrollee with strong oral and written communication skills to work as a member of the Office of Resources Management Communication (ORMC) team. The candidate’s principal focus will be to run and develop reports obtained through the CBOR/CDW systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and budget systems; however, is expected to be learned on the job.
Qualifications:
MUST BE (must meet all 3):
- Minimum of 55 years of age (in accordance with Public Law 98-313 and the Older American Workers Act)
- US citizen
- Be eligible to work in the US
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Prepares weekly Status of Funds Report(s) and related funds data requests. 20%
· Prepares Excel spreadsheets pertaining to other resource tracking activities such as Open Travel, Open Commitments, CDW Orphan Reports and DCR Validation Reports, Unliquidated Obligations, etc. 20%
· Provides excellent customer service and follow-up to management and staff in tracking the status of funding transactions. 10%
· Maintains and manages electronic filing of funding transaction records for the division. Data Processing: manage multiple agency systems by preparing and processing travel documents, procurement requests, scheduling, and training forms. 20%
· Assists in management of the office employee move coordination efforts, staff on-boarding management, etc. 20%
· Other Special Program Specific Projects and Duties as Assigned. 10%
