Job Overview: The Fundraiser is pivotal to the growth of NALZS, identifying and cultivating diverse fundraising channels to bolster our primary endeavors. We seek a dynamic, passionate individual adept at strategy formulation and execution of various fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an influential fundraising strategy to attain or surpass established goals.
- Utilize social media platforms efficiently to enhance awareness and garner donations.
- Coordinate and supervise campaigns, silent auctions, and other fundraising events.
- Engage in direct interactions, such as door-to-door campaigns and presentations, championing NALZS and its objectives.
- Oversee the fundraising database and tracking systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Participate actively in the creation of publications that further support fundraising endeavors.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing gift recognition programs, acknowledging our valuable supporters.
- Cultivate and deepen connections with both existing and potential donors.
- Stay updated with the latest fundraising trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma is a must; however, a BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a relevant field from a four-year accredited college or university is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising or a related field.
- Proficiency in employing social media for advocacy and promotions.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for on-ground activities and direct interactions with varied audiences.
- A genuine commitment to wildlife conservation and education.
