Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Lead Dentist, performs patient care, treatment planning and referrals.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Coordinates the implementation of dental functions to meet patient care needs and industry and agency standards
- Appraises patient dental needs and correctional methods.
- Provides dental services to patients, including the application of fillings, extractions, x-rays, restorations, surgery, and dental prostheses, as appropriate, and diagnoses and treats oral lesions.
- Reviews rules and standards and may recommend changes in departmental policies and procedures, as appropriate.
- Supervises dental assistants at chair side to ensure the application of proper dental techniques and methods.
- Maintains patient records in chart of all dental services rendered.
- Attends doctor’s meetings.
- Consults with patient physician where appropriate.
- Complete periodic chart reviews
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Qualifications, and/or Experience
- Must possess a valid and unencumbered dental license from the Dental Board of California
- Significant experience with surgery and dental prosthetics preferred
- Must be available to work most Saturdays.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
