We are seeking a talented Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reporting. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The Senior Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with various departments within the company and will be responsible for maintaining financial records, conducting general ledger reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of financial statements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Review financial statements for accuracy.
- Enter accounting-related information into the ERP system.
- Support budgeting and planning process by gathering and reporting on historical data.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare Item Profit Contribution analysis.
- Monthly Commission Reporting.
- Support financial audits.
- Prepare financial reports, analyzing data for management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role
- Experience performing bank reconciliations.
- Knowledge of general ledger and journal entries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team-player who can also work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
