Provide a smooth flow of patients through PPM’s telehealth platform, for the coordination of patient appointments and correspondence with providers.
- Elicit and record patient and/or provider information and inquiries by following established protocols to resolve or escalate all customer inquiries.
- Advocate on the caller’s/customer’s behalf to ensure their needs are met and to promote patient experience.
- Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients and providers through active listening, empathy, courtesy, excellent customer service and professionalism in a virtual environment.

Provide patient care services with a Provider related to Telehealth services in accordance with federal and state laws and applicable regulations.

Provide empathetic, non-judgmental, and non-directive patient care and educational services.

Assist patients, providers and staff with setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of telehealth processes and services.

Manage on-demand patient flow and triage in “virtual waiting rooms” within telehealth technology platform to ensure the best patient experience.

Communicate effectively with telehealth team, providing support necessary to facilitate the patient’s visit, including any follow-up needed.

Confirm appointments and registration; verbally contacting patients to aide in completion of MyChart registration prior to scheduled appointment.

High school degree or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or related required.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.

Experience with Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy a plus.

Family planning care, MAB, and reproductive rights experience a plus.

Prior experience working in electronic health records system (i.e. Epic) preferred.

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently required.

Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

After one year PPM will match 100% of employee contributions up to the first 3% and 50% of the next 2%. Fidelity Investment is our 401k provide and they will mail an enrollment packet to your home address.
