Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen, and uphold high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing ingredients for menu items
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate food production
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in fine dining or catering
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen setting
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
