The company offers a full line of industrial wear, insulated work clothing such as bib overalls, jackets, coats, coveralls, work jeans, shirts, sweatshirts, and accessories for men, women, and youth. Distribution of products is primarily concentrated within the United States to farm and home retailers, sporting goods retailers, uniform resellers and promotional products distributors.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with prospective customers nurturing leads, and initiating the process of converting prospects into loyal customers. You will work closely with account managers to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to customer acquisition.
Job Duties:
- Prospecting: Research and identify potential customers through various channels including online research, networking events, and industry publications.
- Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects through cold calling, emailing, and networking to generate initial interest in our products/services.
- Lead Nurturing: Develop and maintain relationships with prospects by understanding their needs and providing relevant information to move them through the sales funnel.
- Collaboration: Work closely with account managers to understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
- Pipeline Management: Keep track of all prospecting activities and update the CRM system regularly to ensure accurate pipeline reporting.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Feedback Loop: Provide valuable feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on interactions with prospects to continuously improve our offerings and messaging
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in sales or business development roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Thorough understanding and drive to grow profitable sales
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospects.
- Entrepreneurial outlook with a sales orientation
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skillset
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- May require occasional travel
