PrestigeCM is specialized in providing staff augmentation of architects, civil engineers, and construction manager to Cities and Counties. We are looking for a Resident Engineer interested in an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated Managers and engineers. The candidate is expected to report to client office in San Francisco, CA in person (no remote work).
Responsibilities:
- Manages the project construction contract as defined in the Construction Contract Documents.
- Administer the Construction Contracts, implement the Quality Plans to assure all construction work is completed in conformance to the Contract Documents;
- implement environmental compliance requirements and procedures;
- manages the schedule, costs, and change orders, assist with Public Outreach effort, and maintain all construction documentation and record.
- Serves as the primary point of contact between the construction contractor, the client, and external stakeholders.
- Direct the performance of the project CM Team and ensure conformance to established policies and procedures for the management of the project.
- Interface with the Engineer of Record (EOR) for design support during construction and reviews technical submittals, request for information (RFI), and change orders.
- Participate in startup and testing activities, final inspection, and contract closeout.
- Ability to evaluate, resolve and provide solutions to contractors and construction inspectors for constructability issues encountered at construction sites.
Requirements:
- Valid CA PE Registration
- Valid Cal OSHA 10.
- 2-3 years of experience supporting construction projects
- BA/BS in an engineering discipline with demonstrated and increasing levels of responsibilities and authority in similar project environments.
Preferred:
- California PE License
- Experience leading a CM team
