GWCCA is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join its Atlanta campus team. The Finance Manager is a key player in providing value-added analysis, business insights, and financial support to the Authority’s leadership team and partner groups. Primary responsibilities include performing financial planning & analysis, revenue/cost optimization, management reporting/analytics, audit compliance/control, and other duties assigned by the Director of Finance. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, thrive in a fast-paced environment, foster a team mentality and drive satisfaction through clear and consistent communications, authenticity, accountability, and team collaboration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manages relationships with revenue generating partners to ensure financial performance aligns with Authority goals.

Identifies and prepares key metrics to help support the Authority’s KPI’s.

Works with Commercial team on new agreements/renewals, forecasting, and analytical tools to help facilitate business decisions.

Leads preparation of rolling 12-month forecasts, periodic 3–5-year outlooks, and other financial models in conjunction with Director of Finance.

Works with Sales and Operations departments on event profitability goals, measurement and reporting.

Perform business analytics and reporting of operational performance and identification of revenue generating and cost reduction measures and initiatives.

Supports the Director of Finance in setting the annual operating budget, including revenue/expense targets.

Assists Director of Finance in ongoing reporting and financial analysis requirements for the hotel asset.

Manages reconciliation and monitoring of hotel trust accounts.

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. MBA or master’s degree preferred. CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred

5 or more years of accounting and finance experience, with 2 or more years in a management role

Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-directed

Advanced level Proficiency with MS Office and proficiency with an ERP platform
