A global manufacturing corporation with a revenue exceeding $900 million is currently seeking a skilled Process Manufacturing Manager for their state-of-the-art facility in the vicinity of Nashville, TN. This plant specializes in producing specialty materials and serves high-tech product manufacturers worldwide. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise in material converting processes, similar to those utilized in a foundry.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished manager with hands-on experience operating high temperature processing equipment, including ovens, furnaces, and kilns, along with their corresponding control systems. QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an engineering or manufacturing role within a heavy industrial setting, such as a foundry or stamping operation. Experience in metals or ceramics processing environments is also highly regarded.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with a strong preference for a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. This is a highly technical, hands-on position, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration will not be considered sufficient.
- Prior experience in a production environment reliant on power-oriented processing, such as a foundry, is essential.
- At least 3 to 5 years of management or supervisory experience is required.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in managing power distribution systems and associated controls.
- Hands-on familiarity with production control systems and equipment is highly preferred.
- Prior experience working within a matrixed management structure is strongly desired.
COMPENSATION: The base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $110,000, with an additional annual bonus of 15%.
