Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our clients team as an Assistant Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. Our clients company operates in the real estate and property management sector, and we are looking for someone who can efficiently handle financial tasks while providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing schedules.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files.
- Assist in preparing documents and presentations.
- Coordinate meetings and appointments as needed.
Property Management Support:
- Assist property managers with tenant inquiries and requests.
- Maintain tenant records and leases.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs with contractors.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with team members, tenants, vendors, and clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or administrative roles preferred.
- Familiarity with real estate or property management industry is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional education or certification in accounting or related field preferred.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience.
