Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for supervising and performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. This includes electrical repairs, customer service, leadership, welding, and fabrication. The ability to communicate effectively in English is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management
- Supervise and train junior maintenance staff
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations
- Utilize CMMS software to track and prioritize work orders
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques
- Excellent customer service skills
- Leadership abilities to supervise and train junior staff members
- Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
