In this role, you will have 5 core areas of focus with the following responsibilities:
Support Business Strategy and Priorities

Help develop effective communications plans in response to business needs.

Represent Communications in multi-function business settings including with category leaders.

Work closely with category teams to coordinate a consistent message across our businesses.
-
Coordinate and liaison between Global Communications and North America Communications to ensure strong collaboration and partnership.
Employee Engagement and Belonging
-
Responsible for developing and delivering a coordinated strategy to engage employees and improve belonging and pride in company.

Work closely with other functions, especially Human Resources, to support initiatives on employee recognition and employer brand.

Ensure adherence to corporate identity and guidelines, and the proper use of the Kimberly-Clark assets in all communications.
Protecting Corporate Reputation and Issues Management/Crisis Communications
-
Partner with key stakeholders inside and outside the company to effectively managing issues and crises that impact the company’s reputation.

Coordinate with partner functions to ensure robust crisis preparedness and issues handling.

Collaborate with in market teams and global government relations teams as needed.
Demonstrating Impact on uplifting communities

Partner with marketing teams to develop and implement initiatives that showcase brand purpose in line with strategic business priorities.

Work with a variety of impact partners, both local and global, to deliver grassroots programming in line with our corporate purpose.
Leadership and Team Management

Drive initiatives that nurture and further elevate the performance of direct reports.

Responsible for working with direct reports to ensure actionable development plans reflecting ongoing feedback and career path discussions.

Manage agency and other external business partner resources as needed.

12+ years of related experience working with a large, global organization and/or agency in communications.

CPG background preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in management, communications or a related field required, Master’s degree desired
-
A track record of having served as a thought partner to C-Suite leaders.

People management experience including developing high-performing talent.

Excel at storytelling and have the ability to craft a narrative, both visually and through text.
