Acme Manufacturing is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic to play a vital role in our production process. This position starts at $28.00 - $32.00 per hour and works Monday-Thursday from 2:30pm to 1:00am at our facility at I-70 and Monaco. Our maintenance mechanic will be responsible for trouble shooting, maintaining, and repairing roll form presses, threading machines, punch presses, and other equipment used to make various metal shapes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The maintenance mechanic plays a vital role in keeping our wide array of machines up and running. This involves troubleshooting electrical malfunctions, mechanical stoppages, breakdowns, general preventative maintenance, and lubrication. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Working in a busy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Adhering to company safety requirements.
- Operating a scissor lift and working with heights.
- Complete preventative maintenance of equipment, including inspecting, calibrating, safety checks, and repairing/replacing broken or warn components to include belts, bearings, gear systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing motors (110V-480V), drives, and controls.
- Performing diagnostics on various systems and troubleshooting equipment such as relays, contactors, motor starters, overloads, timers, VFDs, PLCs, proximity switches, and light curtains.
- Installing conduit and wire.
Who we are seeking in an applicant:
Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years preforming maintenance on assembly line machines, vehicles, or industrial equipment. Additional qualifications include:
- Ability to assess and fix routine electrical issues with production machines.
- General knowledge of PLCs.
- Ability to read and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric documentation and drawings and interpret equipment data.
- Experience with tools such as a multimeter.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs in weight and stay on their feet for 8 hours at a time.
- Being “Coachable” and willing to learn new skills and responsibilities.
- Comfort with voltages up to 480V 3PH.
- Being able to work with and without supervision to specific targets and timetables.
- Demonstrating a “Can do” attitude in a company determined to be the leader in their field.
- Be able to get to work in time to start their shift every day.
- Be legally allowed to work in the USA and be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, (Green Card Holder).
- Welding experience is a plus!
