We are a PNW developer and general contractor for residential, mixed-use, and commercial construction looking for a passionate and dedicated Construction Safety Officer to join our team! The Construction Safety Officer will perform overall job site safety functions, manage safety programs, and train in all construction related subjects. The Construction Safety Officer will also be responsible for upholding the company's safety program, policies, and procedures.
Essential Job Functions
- Submit reports (safety visit, client contact, client’s meetings, etc.) of daily activities
- Disseminate safety information to ensure proper safety techniques, and processes are adhered to.
- Assist in accident investigations, near-miss investigations, claims, and utility strike incident responses
- Assist in inspections performed by regulatory agencies.
- As required, participate in assigned client safety committees, safety meetings, and client pre-conference meetings and/or calls.
- Maintain current knowledge of pertinent safety regulations, guidelines, standards and processes, such as regulations of OSHA, WISHA, DOT, Federal and State, County and City ordinances and regulations relating to safe work practices.
- Experience with State Department of Labor & Industries, safety regulations and OSHA required.
- Thorough knowledge of Workplace, Jobsite & Industrial Safety principles, procedures & training as applicable to Safety Federal and state employment law.

Requirements
- OSHA certification with 2+ Years of OSHA experience, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in safety/health, construction safety, or a similar subject is preferred but not required
- 2+ years of equivalent work experience in Safety Management, Inspections, Risk Assessment and/or Industrial/Workplace Safety
- 2+ years of equivalent work experience Civil Construction (Infrastructure, Commercial Subcontractors (landscapers, subcontractors/construction, Industrial (manufacturing (mills, good, parts), Warehousing & Distribution Transportation and/or Surface Mining (above ground mining)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
