Job Summary
MPM is looking for an Energetic, Enthusiastic Residential Property Manager to manage a 100 unit Multi Family Property. The Property Manager is fully accountable for all day to day property operations, overseeing and enhancing the value of a multi-family property. .
General Accountabilities
Demonstrate ability to understand financial goals, operate asset in owners’ best interest in accordance with Policies & Procedures Manual.
Direct and coordinate the activities of site level operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of properties.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects.
Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine repair or maintenance needs.
Act as a liaison between site staff, tenants, and management.
Be responsible for employees time keeping that report directly to you.
Ensure that all rents and late fees/check charges are collected, posted and deposited in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of all property transactions and submit on timely basis (i.e., rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/move-outs, etc.)
Generate necessary legal action, documents and process in accordance with State and Company guidelines.
Work with Corporate to utilize marketing strategies to secure prospective residents ensuring property is rented to fullest capacity.
Meet with prospective tenants to show properties, explain terms of occupancy, and provide additional information.
Ensure that A/P invoices are submitted to the corporate office for payment, handle petty cash and all funds.
Investigate complaints, disturbances and violations and resolves problems following management rules and regulations.
Job Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of related experience
- Software Experience: Yardi Voyager, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Fair Housing certification
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) or similar accreditation
- ADP, Payroll Time Keeping for employees that report directly.
