PTR Baler and Compactor (PTR) has an immediate need for a Billing Coordinator to join our Accounting Department.
PTR is a world leader in the waste equipment industry. Our mission is to help companies achieve their green initiatives by reducing waste streams and increasing recycling efforts. The company manufactures and services balers, compactors and provides parts and resources to customers.
The Billing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily billing operation of the service division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Code and data entry of documentation to create invoices for payments.
- Review documentation to ensure compliance with terms of the agreed contract.
- Enter data accurately and expeditiously.
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Resolve issues arising from actions or events involving administrative functions.
- Reviews processes and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for a range of general billing tasks but will be primarily responsible for all accounting work associated with processing service billing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of high-volume billing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED required, Associate Degree in accounting strongly preferred.
- Must be able to prioritize and organize their work.
- Time management and multi-tasking skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Should be able to work independently with limited supervision.
- PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Able to work overtime as required.
