Role Summary:
The Front Desk Attendant and Operations Assistant are responsible for checking in and checking out guests, managing reservations, providing concierge services, supporting housekeeping duties (laundry), setting up and delivering breakfast service, supporting wine sales, and ensuring guests have an outstanding experience while staying at our Inn. They will also manage inventories, place orders, support management, and perform operational and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available on holidays, weekdays, and weekends. The job opening is primarily for the 2 pm to 10 pm shift.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required. Must possess a clean record.
- Must provide work references.
Wages: $12 to $15 per hour
Minimum Age: 21+ years old (alcohol serving may be required)
Detailed Job Description:
The Front Desk Attendant is primarily responsible for managing reservations, greeting and registering guests, providing outstanding service during their stay, supporting wine sales and settling the guest’s account before check-out. In addition, the Front Desk Attendant assists with breakfast setup and breakdown and performs housekeeping duties such as laundry.
The Front Desk Attendant and Operations Assistant will manage inventories, place orders, support management, buy groceries, and perform operational and administrative tasks. They will also help the inn management team, other front desk attendants, and housekeeping attendants as required.
Front Desk Attendants must possess an upbeat personality and a heartfelt desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. They must also be able to multitask, problem-solve, and be detail-oriented to deal with internal and external customers. The candidate must be a self-starter who works well alone and with others.
