Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification and verify legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with bar inventory management and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food and beverage service
- Provide support during catering events as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and beer styles is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate customer needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
