Position Summary:

The Account Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of landscape maintenance accounts. Account Managers ensure customer satisfaction by building business relationships with the clients and leading the maintenance team to meet and exceed the client's expectations.

- Ensuring that quality standards are met and that customers are satisfied through proactive communication, relationship building, and regular account visits
- Proactively manages the business portfolio as a profit center; increases revenue, leverages resources and tracks expenses to ensure revenue, efficiency, and gross margin goals are met
- Maintaining monthly budgets and reporting results to management
- Acting as a liaison between clients and our company to ensure that receivables are current
- Ensuring that all employees are always working efficiently and safely
- Selling enhancements to portfolio of accounts and coordinating the completion of the work with customers and team members
- Oversee and manage accuracy of crews for correct time/job/task allocation
- Other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of Commercial Landscape Maintenance including maintenance, irrigation, pesticide mitigation and how all the areas collaborate to achieve client satisfaction
- Demonstrated leadership to attain maximum performance from crews while ensuring safety and productivity simultaneously
- Ability to actively listen to clients, deescalate situations when needed, and be solutions-oriented to develop communication and production plans to ensure client satisfaction
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills, written and verbally
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Displays a strong work ethic
- Ability to see areas of opportunity for further contracts in Enhancements or Trees and collaborate with these departments
Education/Experience/Licenses
- 2+ years COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT experience running multiple crews - required
- Knowledge of all facets of production including irrigation, spray equipment, etc. - required
- Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture or other Green Industry degree - preferred
- 21+ years of age or older – required
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record - required
- Proficient with technology including tablets, smartphones and computer software programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook - required
- Bilingual in Spanish and English - preferred
- Client satisfaction experience - required
- Effective oral and written communication skills - required
- Strong work ethic - required
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Will manage Field Superintendents and Foreman
Work Environment
- Will work in the office as well as outside in the field in extreme temperatures and weather conditions including sun, rain, snow, wind
- Will be in direct sunlight for periods of time on a periodic basis
Physical Requirements
- In this role you will frequently stand, walk, climb or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects; walk for long distances and on sloped ground and uneven surfaces; move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds
Travel
Daily local travel within Denver Metro area to job sites

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
