Job Title: Office Assistant
Overview:
Join our team as an Office Assistant where you will play a vital role in supporting our Fire Alarm management team. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to assist in various administrative tasks. This position will offer an opportunity to work with field technicians to assist and get hands on training in the Fire Alarm industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette and customer service to clients and visitors.
- Assist in computerizing and organizing office documents and files.
- Manage phone systems and redirect calls appropriately.
- Assist with clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks.
- Assist administration with quoting and preparing project contracts.
- Assisting technicians in the field as needed.
Requirements:
- Proficient in administrative tasks and clerical duties.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Knowledge of project coordination and basic accounting principles is advantageous.
- Fire protection administrative experience preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
