The Heritage at Brentwood is looking for a full-time, hospitality-focused Maintenance Technician with 2-5 years’ experience to perform general maintenance and repair duties our 48-acre senior living community located in Brentwood, TN. The physical plant operations includes all building and grounds for our independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care facilities.

Job Responsibilities
- General maintenance and repair duties may include, but are not limited to, preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs and changes, fixture installations, plumbing, minor electrical and appliance repairs, floor coverings, and some furniture with minimal supervision.
- Performs preventive maintenance on complicated systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, pumping and motor systems, electrical and emergency generator systems, domestic water systems and all other aspects
- Operates various types of equipment that may include, but not limited to, drills, pressure washers, hand tools, trash compactor, golf cart, computer and cell phone, and company vehicles.
- Performs painting and refurbishing projects as assigned.
- Maintains accurate and timely inspection logs and recordkeeping as directed
- Performs building and equipment repairs for both interior and exterior as needed in changing environments and temperatures
- May perform routine maintenance on gas and electric company vehicles
- May assist with snow removal and landscape maintenance year around
- Accomplishes assignments in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-5 years’ experience in general repairs and maintenance required
- Experience working in long-term care setting preferred
- Technical or trade school training or equivalent background preferred
- Effective communication skills, including ability to understand and follow instructions in English
Tennessee drivers’ license in good standing
