As a Campus Recruiter, you will manage the recruitment of intern, co-op, and entry level full-time hires into Buro Happold. You will work to increase brand awareness and strengthen our relationships with universities, resulting in attracting a diverse pipeline of candidates. Successful individuals will be intelligent, creative, outgoing, and motivated with an appetite for the dynamic and fast pace of campus recruiting.
- Own the campus recruiting process for Buro Happold’s US Region: recruitment requests, resume review, screening, interview coordination, offers, and background checks
- Organize and participate in campus recruiting activities such as career fairs, information sessions, technical lectures, and more
- Maintain relationships with career services, faculty, and student groups
- Research, recommend, and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and hire high-quality college talent
- Partner with our marketing team on branding and social media campaigns
- Lead the candidate experience by proactively following up with candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain strong consultative partnership with HR and hiring teams
- Equity, Diversity & Inclusion advocate; support and expand our ED&I practices
- Manage summer internship program
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience in campus recruiting, including virtual and in-person recruitment events and activities
- Experience working with HBCUs, HSIs, and tribal colleges and universities advantageous but not required
- Experience working with the AEC industry advantageous
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively with team members within the region, as well as across the firm, to meet recruitment goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and relationship building ability
- Excellent organization and follow-through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications
- General knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time during peak recruiting season (mainly during the fall) and willingness to work flexible hours, as needed
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the US without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future to be considered for this role.
- Salary range of $75,000 - $90,000. This will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience
