Summary
Responsibilities
The human resources generalist will collaborate as part of the overall HR team by supporting the following tasks:
- Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications
- Assists with the employment screening process and technical interviews; ensures ongoing communication between the HR team, business partners, and prospective employees regarding the interview and onboarding process
- Prepares paperwork and schedules for smooth onboarding processes
- Assists with payroll processing and benefits transactions
- Welcomes newly hired employees, conducts new hire orientation, and assist new employees with learning company policies and procedures
- Provides dedicated and quality HR and benefits advisory services to members of every level of the organization
- Ensures compliance with federal and local rules and regulations
- Communicate human resources rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Maintains accurate and complete personnel files
- Auditing time and labor reporting
- Monitoring and escalation of HR questions and requests from employees and prospective hires; field any questions and concerns from employees , as well as ensure resolution of any employee conflicts or issues
- Research and develop opportunities to enhance the employee experience
- Learn all company policies to answer questions about company operations to guide new hires accurately through the onboarding process
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns. And escalate as needed
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Experience equivalent to at least one year of human resources or administrative work
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated and energetic self-starter

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
