**Job Summary:**
We have an immediate opportunity for an Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle accounts payables, assist with personnel functions, process payroll, assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. This position offers an opportunity to work independently yet as a part of a valuable team in a Country Club setting.
**Responsibilities:**
- Process accounts payable functions
- Handle personnel functions including payroll, maintaining personnel records, processing employee activity through ADP
- Assist with maintaining general ledger
- Assist with tax preparation and audits
- Support the accounting team in daily tasks
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in financial software applications
- Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation
- Understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Familiarity with tax regulations
- Strong mathematical skills
- Experience with SOX compliance
- Ability to work with technical accounting tools
- Proficiency with Jonas and ADP a plus
