We are looking for a Full Time Monday through Friday clinician to join the Jackson House team! AMFT, LMFT, ACSW, LCSW, APCC, LPCC or similar. MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE BBS.
1. Develops, implements, and administers therapeutic recovery plan by performing intake assessments (BioPsychoSocial Assessment) for psychological history and compiles all pertinent documents to facilitate treatment plan.
2. Participates in treatment team meetings with clinical and medical staff.
3. Observes clients for abnormal physical or mental behavior and monitor progress with components of the treatment plan.
4. Conducts individual and group therapy sessions according to recovery plans.
5. Contacts and schedules counseling sessions with family/guardian, significant others, and involved agencies.
6. Acts as liaison with family/guardian and other agencies to reunify client with family/guardian. and reintegrate back into the community.
7. Responds to any emergency/crisis situation involving clients in treatment.
8. Attends staff meetings as required and performs duties as a positive role model for clients and colleagues.
9. Utilizes chain of command in all aspects of the program and follows the organization's policies and procedures.
10. Assists with community relations by ensuring all written and verbal information is clear, concise, legible, and accurate.
11. Documents all external and internal interactions and relays client information according to company and governmental guidelines maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
12. Trained and assumes back-up for admission, transfers, or discharge decisions.
13. Must perform other duties as assigned or directed by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Master's degree (MA/MS) in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field required. Licensed or license eligible. If an employee does not have a minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience working in a program serving people with a psychiatric diagnosis, then a plan of supervision is required and will be put into place. Valid State Drivers' License. At least 1 year of direct mental health experience.
2. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid State Driver’s License. Valid First Aid / CPR certified. Licensed/license eligible LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or related.
3. LANGUAGE/CULTURAL SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as medical records with medical terminology, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy/procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and document client behavior. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of the organization.
