Overview
The Store Manager will be influential in the company’s retail expansion establishing best practices for our retail experience, delivering exceptional client experience and overall sales.
This role requires a fast-paced, creative, dynamic individual who can work in a rapidly growing environment, attract, and retain top retail talent, and engage with our customers to create memorable experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and People Management
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team and provide consistent performance feedback and coaching to drive results
- Identify, hire and train sales individuals who can contribute to store culture and client-focused environment
- Manage and monitor team morale and talent retention to maintain consistency
- Foster team’s ongoing growth and development through both training and on-the-job learning
- Manage performance, handle issues and resolve conflict in a calm, objective and fact-based manner
Create the Customer Experience
- Lead by example and create an environment and a team that consistently delivers best-in-class customer experiences
- Develop training and coaching to the team to manage a highly productive selling environment
- Create the customer journey in the store and provide an inspiring, personalized shopping experience
- Oversee the development of clientele by designing and supporting strategic initiatives that build customer base and increase repeat business
Represent the Brand
- Emulate the company aesthetic and embody a strong sense of fashion sensibility and an enthusiastic attitude
- Take ownership for maintaining the company aesthetic across all touch points to create a fully branded environment
- Partner with key members of team to ensure that the assortment strategy is aligned with the needs of the business
- Ensure the store is merchandised according to visual guidelines and hold team accountable to the standards
- Contribute to the community to help us reach new customers and build brand awareness
Operational Excellence
- Understand and adhere to all operational procedures and ensure the efficient running of store operations
- Proficient user of all core systems and technologies including but not limited to Shopify POS, i-Pad and Microsoft Word applications
- Ensures the management of expenses such as payroll/wages, supplies and other expenses in a business-focused manner
- Ensures consistent enforcement of policies and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee paperwork
- Manage inventory movement by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of mark-downs, transfers and consolidations, receiving and POS transactions
- Ensure maintenance of stores physical appearance and cleanliness
- Securing of our assets through implementation of effective Loss Prevention methods and policy and procedures
Drive the Business and Deliver Results
- Holds self and team accountable for the achievement of financial targets through monitoring and improvement of measurable statistics that drive the business

o Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual targets
- Ensure disciplined management of store expenses such as payroll/wages, supplies, etc.
- Manage personnel resources to maximize sales, traffic flow, floor coverage and customer engagement
- Be proactive in communicating about product buying and allocation according to customer demographic and business potential
- Analyze, interpret and apply data (both internal measures and external trends) to identify key issues and maximize your business
- Run your business with agility, changing direction and continuously improving based on key indicators and lessons learned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional-level Mandarin speaking is required to communicate with HQ
- 3-5+ years of successful Store Manager experience
- Proven experience managing both operational and personnel dynamics
- Detail-oriented, team player with creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
