We’re looking for an Outside Sales & Account Manager with a go-getter attitude to join our Austin team!

You’re highly personable and enjoy building relationships with customers and hunting for new leads through cold call visits, emails, and phone calls. Primary Job Functions:
- Travel from business to business (apartment communities, corporate multifamily management offices, contractor offices) to build relationships and produce new sales.
- Actively plan and manage your own call schedule to adequately cover your assigned territory in a productive, time-efficient manner. Your territory will include Austin, Waco, San Marcos, San Antonio, and the surrounding area.
- Present Vima product offerings during face-to-face sales meetings.
- Consistently engage with prospects to convert them into buying customers – Close the sale!
- Maintain your relationships with current customers to cultivate ongoing sales.
- Periodically attend industry trade shows and networking events. These are usually local but will occasionally require air travel, and often fall outside of normal business hours (weekday evenings – typically less than once a month).
- Accurately enter and maintain customer information in our company’s ERP system. Strong attention to detail is required.
- Prepare presentations, quotes, and arrange product sample deliveries.
- Process your customer’s sales orders from entry all the way through billing and shipment tracking.
- As needed, walk properties to measure unit types for cabinets, countertops, blinds, and collect fixture counts. Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with this process, we’ll train you!
- Regularly submit required reports to our management team.
Requirements:
- Passionate about growing business and winning sales
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organized and detail oriented
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel locally up to 70% of the time
- Strong computer skills, understanding of Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn new software quickly
- Occasionally lift items up to 50lbs
- Must live in/near Austin
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm
Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
Please note, this is a hybrid office/field position. Our office is located in South Austin.
Must have flexibility to occasionally start work early (ex. 8am presentation) and work late (ex. 5-7pm event).
Salary & Benefits:
$55K - $75K Base Salary + Uncapped Sales Commission
