As a Human Resource Managerat Stateson Homes, you will work alongside senior leaders to understand business needs and manage the recruiting process. You will be responsible for full lifecycle recruitment across all areas of the business. You’ll make an impact by evaluating and presenting qualified candidates, monitoring recruitment market trends, building relationships with local universities and helping to devise strategies to attract, grow and retain top talent.
In addition, this position will deliver HR support in the areas of employee engagement, coaching and development, performance management, training, and policy and benefits management. This position will lead key strategic HR initiatives by building positive employee relations, implementing policy changes, and developing sustainable strategies for attracting and retaining talent.
What you’ll do:
- Strategically source high quality candidates to ensure strong candidate pipelines, utilizing tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Conduct initial interviews to evaluate talent and make recommendations to Hiring Managers
- Partner with internal leaders to understand hiring needs and inform go to market strategy to identify top talent
- Create and Manage an Applicant Tracking System to ensure accurate and up to date candidate data is maintained throughout the recruitment process
- Build and foster relationships with local universities in order to support future hiring needs
- Provide counsel on HR policies and benefits programs, talent acquisition, performance management and coaching, employee engagement, training, and other HR topics
- Initiate and lead employee engagement activities to foster a positive and collaborative culture
- Recommend and support the implementation of HR policies, programs, communications, and initiatives
- Lead and/or participate in special projects as assigned
Qualified applicants have:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR or Business
- 5+ years of HR and/or recruiting experience
- Experience sourcing passive candidates
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to partner with managers
- Experience working effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence, and coach others
- Strong attention to detail and experience handling confidential information
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, using sound judgment, problem solving, and decision-making
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 Plus bonus opportunity
