- Train clients to be independent with the goal of job acquisition, successful community integration, goal setting, and job readiness.
- Understand how to implement person-centered planning
Act as a program monitor to assigned clients, providing advocacy as needed.
- Transport clients (up to 3 at a time), to community, job sites, using own vehicle.
- Assist clients with accommodations and ADA related needs.
- Maintain a professional relationship with family members, employers, and funding sources.
- Develop and implement instructional plans, social skill training and provide interventions as needed.
- Complete all required documentation and reports,
- Maintain complete and accurate case files.
- Ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality.
- Acts as a mandated abuse reporter.

We are hiring for DSP’s who will provide support to clients to foster and develop success in job hunting, interviewing, and community integration. Hours will be day shift, hours ranging between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of related experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
- Full coverage auto insurance, always maintained. Car insurance that covers you transporting for your employer. (employer pays).
- CPR and First Aid certifications, or willing to obtain within first 30 days of employment.
- Ability to understand and relate to individuals with disabilities, their families, the community
- Ability to observe, evaluate, document, and communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to teach good work habits and social skills to individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings.
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling and prioritization of tasks.
- Ability to transport self and clients to multiple employer locations as needed.
- Must pass CHP VDDP, Drug/Alcohol Test, Background
$16/hour, 30 hours per week, Mon-Fri
