General Job Description:
The Software Support Specialist supports various internal (proprietary) and external (3rd party) applications and integrations, provides technical support to end users, and assists in new development.
Main Components of Role
- Monitor error logs for proprietary and 3rd party applications and research, troubleshoot, and resolve errors
- Support and maintain various software system and 3rd party services
- Monitor help desk and provide technical support to end-users for software-related issues
- Communicate effectively with end-users to understand and address their IT support needs
- Document support activities and solutions in ticketing system
- Provide support to Netsuite end-users
- Assist with tasks related to Netsuite administration, customization and data manipulation
- Assist developers with various tasks on new development
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex software-related problems
Technical Skills Recommended
Minor Duties and Responsibilities
· Actively contribute to IT team meetings
· Collaborate on new application development
· Have an awareness of industry trends and new product offerings within their area of responsibility
Qualifications for the Job
· Associate degree in in computer science or 1 year of technical support experience
· Familiarity with end-user support, help desk, troubleshooting best practices
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Experience with Netsuite a major plus
· Excellent knowledge of office technology including Excel, Google Sheets, Teams, etc.
· Experience working in a hybrid environment
· Ability to quickly learn new systems and skills
