The Warehouse Manager will lead our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and the overall warehouse facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a well-organized and productive warehouse environment. This position has multi-site responsibility - experience in overseeing more than one facility at a time is critical for this hire.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all material movement, storage, procedures, material stacking requirements, truck loading are done with the priority of safety of our employees.
- Oversee and verify the productivity and effectiveness of all material handling in both locations.
- Coach and mentor employees to support personal and organizational development. Need to support company discipline steps to employees if/when appropriate.
- Drive and have ownership of workplace organization in both plants. Identify, and if necessary, implement, the highest standards of material bin storage are met.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping. Ensure that all receiving of shipments are accurate and in system as “received” within 24 hours.
- Review and/or develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Communicate with planning to support the optimization of inventory levels. Work with Materials team to support scheduled cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Partner with Planning and Purchasing as required to work with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely receipt and delivery of goods.
- Lead and supervise currently two (2) warehouse supervisors and additional material handlers providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse performance and productivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any warehouse-related issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment.
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance to Materials Management.
- Responsible for leading and supporting all continuous improvement activities, process improvements, and cost reductions in your area of responsibility.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of proven experience in warehouse management and logistics operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Practical experience in inventory management best practices and ERP software.
- Proven knowledge and use warehouse safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Forklift certification and knowledge of material handling equipment.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Standing and walking for extended periods.
