WEEKEND SHIFT: Friday - Monday, 8am to 4pm
Here at Banham's Cheesecake we are looking to hire a positive & energetic Baker to assist with the creation of our scratch made cheesecakes. General duties include ingredient preparation, cake decorating, preparation of crusts as well as assisting in all phases of the bake.
The Baker will perform all preparation duties required in the bakery kitchen. They assist the Kitchen Manager with all tasks necessary to ensure that the kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Baker's Responsibilities:
- Prepares, produces, and bakes cheesecakes from scratch using raw ingredients
- Decorates cheesecakes using available equipment.
- Timely preparation of all cheesecake crusts
- Sets time and speed controls for mixing machines, or blending machines, so that ingredients will be mixed according to instructions.
- Measures or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, fillings, or whipped cream, using scales.
- Prepare compotes, ganaches as needed for cheesecakes.
- Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration.
- Keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.
- Cleans, breaks down, and puts away all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, floors, and refrigerators.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years of baking experience
- Current food handler’s card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law

Pay: $16.00 per hour
