General Description: Senior Contract Specialist:
- Under this labor category, the Contractor Personnel shall be required to (list not all inclusive):
- Independently reviewing Procurement Request Packages to include the Statement of work, Independent Cost Estimate and other necessary support documentation;
- Draft and Process high dollar actions (over $2M);
- Developing Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs);
- Interfacing with Industry and Internal Stakeholders about procurement related issues;
- Develop evaluation criteria;
- Prepare and award Inter and Intra Agency Agreements.
- Place calls against existing Blanket Purchase Agreements;
- Oversee Technical Evaluation Committee meetings in coordination with the Contracting Officer;
- Properly document Contract Files in accordance with agency directives;
- Submit documents to the Office of General Counsel for legal sufficiency reviews;
- Process actions considering FAR Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, 16 and 19 as appropriate; and
- Act as a liaison between the Program Office, Industry and the Contracting
