Job Summary: Assistant Property Manager assists community manager by maintaining the property assigned and perform all related management functions, including, but not limited to, coordinating leasing and marketing efforts, approve move-in files, promote lease renewals, resident relations, team building and any other duties or other responsibilities that the Regional Property Supervisor may assign.

Pay Range: $16.00 to $20.00
Position Type: Part-Time / Temporary
Hours: 15-20 hours per week

Experiences and Skills required to complete this job include but are not limited to the following:
Administrative Experience:
· Assists Community manager in managing residential apartment community and property operations.
· Assist with inputting and updating tenant information, work orders, prospects, and processing invoices in Yardi Voyager.
· Assist with coordinating maintenance issues during office hours and following up to ensure that it's completed.
· Assist with leasing duties, application qualifications and verifications and adding prospective renters to the waitlist, monitoring rent roll and collecting and maintaining delinquency report.
· Assist serving notices
· Assist with completing LIHTC and Home program Initial and Annual recertifications.
· Assist with other duties as assigned.
Leasing / Sales Experience:
· Proven track of successful sales record
· Proven working experience as a leasing agent
· Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices
· Customer service orientation
· Marketing vacancies/ post online with Supervisor approval
· Format open house flyers and vacancy notices and online and print advertisement
· Show/ Host open house for the vacancy
· Confirm rental application data and personal documentation verifications and references
· Provide information on all aspects of properties (expansion, zoning, crime etc.)
· Present leasing terms and conditions for the vacancy in accordance with prior Supervisor approval
Communication Skills
· Ability to accurately communicate lease agreement information to tenant per Supervisor approval.
· Presenting properties and providing amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants.
· Ability to manage confidential information
· File organization skills
· Typing 45WPM
· Stay up to date with the team on property market status
· Excellent communication and organization skills
· marketing and advertising in accordance with Fair Housing
Other requirements:
· AA certificate / BS degree in real estate
· Experience in Residential Property Leasing
· Experience in Assistant Property Management
· Yardi Voyager Experience (preferred)
· Access to reliable transportation
· 80% Driving required for this position
Travel Requirements: Moderate travel for this position requires you to have reliable transportation. Travel requirements for this position may change at any time.
