Provide comprehensive physical assessment. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat new and existing patient’s medical conditions. Initiate and interpret possible lab and x-rays. Perform medical and minor surgical procedures in an austere environment. Assist physician in surgical procedures as needed. Prescribe and refer patients for specialized consultation. Use prescriptive authority to write prescription medicines for patients. Conduct follow-up patient care. Coordinate the activities of patient care
