Position Summary:
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to help implement our new human resources program and to be the HR details person. At CLS, we have more than 180 employees and our HR team ensures that we have strong practices and processes in place related to hiring, performance management, benefits, and onboarding. This individual will work heavily with our new Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Bamboo, to ensure our processes are organized and efficient, and that our HR files are well managed. Our ideal candidate will be the kind of person who is energized by getting the details right, and who wants to help cultivate a positive and welcoming work environment through superior customer service and responsiveness in their work. Reporting directly to the Director of People and Culture, the Human Resources Assistant will also serve as a member of our operations team and help us provide high-quality civil legal services to low-income Coloradans.
Essential Duties:
- Help develop and implement efficient HR processes.
- Review, edit, and post jobs internally and externally, and distribute job postings to maximize the recruitment of candidates.
- Communicate with candidates on job applications, timeline, and process.
- Use our HRIS (Bamboo) to maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation, and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of such records.
- Assist with managing hiring processes and running regular reports through Bamboo.
- Provides timely updates and reminders to management about HR processes and changes.
- Help develop and implement new hire orientation and other staff trainings on HR processes and policies.
- Manage and track external training requests and register attendees for conferences.

- Provide day-to-day technical HR support for employee questions regarding Bamboo.
- Be a point of contact for HR resources and procedures for employees.
Support HR in all functions and assist with general office administration duties as needed.
