Wage Range: $25.14 to $34.02 hourly; depending on number of years of transferrable experience and internal equity

RiverStone Health is looking for technically skilled candidates with good problem-solving ability for the position of IT Application Support Specialist. The major duties of an IT Application Support Specialist include being a reference point for specialized applications, responding to end user needs regarding applications and ensuring optimal operation and configuration of applications, among other technical duties.
IT Application Support Specialists are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with colleagues from various departments and executive levels. They are required to listen to their needs, understand their problems, and implement solutions.
A. Technical Responsibilities 20%
Provide support for application specific components and peripherals
Perform troubleshooting to resolve system issues
Adhere to IT process for intake, prioritization, and delivery
Provision and manage user access
Liaise with IT personnel for problem resolution
Perform integration testing and document defects for resolution
Adhere to RiverStone Heath IT policies and procedures
Maintain appropriate IT documentation
B. Application Responsibilities 75%
Compile system requirements based on business use cases
Coordinate maintenance and updates to applications
Install, configure and integrate specialized applications
Liaise with application vendors for enhanced capabilities and problem resolution
Perform applications system testing and document defects for resolution
Maintain working knowledge of assigned business partner operations and key strategies
Create and maintain documentation for a new or changing processes
Conduct ongoing application training, including feature updates
Non-Essential Functions/Other duties as assigned 5%
Minimum Qualifications
At least two (2) years of experience supporting specialized applications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical School graduate preferred
Applicable IT Certification preferred (e.g., MCSE, etc.)
Experience managing complex specialty applications
Experience with documentation of business requirements, processes, and workflow
Project management
Testing techniques and processes
Training
Valid state of Montana Driver License
Required to obtain emergency preparedness on the job training at a minimum of ICS 100, 200, and 700.
