Nuance Solutions, LLC is growing and seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our Award-Winning Team! The ideal candidate will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for coordinating and expediting customer order shipments and incoming purchase orders. In addition, processing all shipping paperwork for the Warehouse Department.
In this role, you will collaborate Department Managers, Traffic Coordinator, Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Material Handlers.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the dock schedule based on customer orders and needs. Contacts carriers based on the dock schedule.
- Assists the Traffic Manager to assign carriers to insure on-time delivery at the best possible freight rates.
- Communicates with Customer Service or directly with customers on the status of shipments.
- Processes pick tickets and bills of lading for all shipments ensuring correct DOT shipping names, counts and freight classifications and that orders are correctly assigned a carrier. Ensures all necessary and completed paperwork is given to the material handlers for shipments.
- Verifies shipped quantities and corrects errors on all shipping paperwork prior to invoicing.
- Coordinates with the material handlers the placement of finished goods for shipments. (Plant or warehouse)
- Assists Purchasing with the scheduling of inbound purchase orders.
- Processes receipts verifying quantities and correct product.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with the shipping process and its associated paperwork.
Language Ability:
A strong command of English in written and verbal forms. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to comprehend and fill-in forms. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

The Shipping Clerk is a full-time non-exempt position, eligible for overtime after 40-hours worked per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Hourly range is $16.00 to $20.00, compensation is commensurate with experience.
