The Field Advisor Supervisor is responsible for providing coordination of personnel, supplies, vendors and equipment as needed to satisfy the objectives of field service projects while ensuring quality of workmanship, customer satisfaction, profitability and compliance with government regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Frequent customer interaction including after hours and on weekends
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job proposals or purchase orders as needed to advise Field Advisors and subcontractors.
- Assist Sales staff with proposals for Advisory services.
- Plan and coordinate the scope of work and duration of service projects.
- Coordinate, schedule, and provide detailed instructions to Field Advisor personnel (including equipment and supplies required) for upcoming Field Service projects.
- Confer with Field Advisors to resolve equipment performance/maintenance problems.
- Facilitate resolving complaints and grievances with the appropriate internal departments and management.
- Investigate and report all job-site accidents in accordance with company policy.
- Review and sign Advisor time records to ensure accuracy and compliance with FLSA requirements.
- Conduct performance reviews of Field Advisors on an annual basis.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the Field Advisors in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Specific responsibilities include hiring & training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; providing feedback on personnel performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering; or five or more years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data and drawings.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Must have effective coping skills to work in a potentially stressful environment, which includes the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting customer commitments and internal objectives.
- Ability to respond quickly, decisively, and appropriately to problems.
- The ability to understand and communicate complex and/or technical concepts regarding rotary kiln & grinding mill equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful candidate should have prior experience supervising field service and/or repair and construction activities in a Cement, Paper, or Mineral/Aggregate processing environment.
- Supervisory experience in a construction environment, ideally cement, paper, or mining.
- Dedication to safe and environmentally compliant work.
- Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations.•Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Able to show initiative and decisiveness.
- Work well within a team environment.
Travel:
Up to 10% Travel. This position is based in Milwaukee, WI and requires limited travel within the US and possibly Canada & Mexico.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $129,000.00 per year
