Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area for a Computer Security Systems Specialist with Federal Experience. As a Computer Security Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and managing computer security systems for our clients in the federal sector. Your day-to-day tasks will include designing and implementing security measures, monitoring and analyzing security incidents, performing vulnerability assessments, developing and implementing security policies and procedures, and providing recommendations for enhancing security systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in computer security systems, preferably in the federal sector
- Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Knowledge of network security technologies and protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption
- Understanding of security principles and best practices, including access control, authentication, and encryption
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus

Pay: $85,933.80 - $103,490.16 per year
