Business Office Representative (Intake & Reception) responsibilities:
Shift will be 4:30am-1:00pm, includes 30 minute unpaid lunch break
- Answer phone in a pleasant manner and deals with physician offices and patient’s needs expeditiously. Take messages and transfers calls to other departments when necessary.
- Face of the facility - good customer service is a must
- Check patients in while displaying a caring and responsive attitude, conducts all activities respecting patient, family and employee rights and expectations
- Collect patient payments
- Create patient charts with accuracy, including making any add-on patient charts and ensuring all charts are up to date for the next business day
- Interact with all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees in a mature, responsible manner to ensure a positive and professional facility environment
- Will receive a medical record audit quota to complete weekly
