We are a small, but growing firm located in Dallas, Texas seeking someone to help across various practice areas, including corporate and transactional law, estate planning, and commercial litigation.

We are seeking a diligent and organized Attorney to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients, drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, communicating with new and existing clients, managing administrative tasks, and otherwise helping support the firm as needed.

Overview of What You Will Be Doing:
Responsibilities:
Drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating legal documents, documents related to client disputes, contracts, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation.
Maintain and organize physical and digital files, ensuring easy retrieval and document management.
Manage your calendar, to ensure you timely attend scheduled appointments and hearings, and meet applicable deadlines.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Prepare and file court documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal procedures.
Finally, we do not expect you to generate any business at this stage, but it’s certainly a plus.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney licensed to practice by the State Bar of Texas.
A commitment to your client’s success and the dedication to see projects through to completion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Ability to accept feedback and guidance as your experience and practice grow.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software (e.g., Clio, document management, Lexis, etc.).
