Job Position: Behavioral Health Therapist
Supervisor: Director of Behavior Health & Social Services
About the Position
Under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health & Social Services and as a part of a multidisciplinary team the Behavioral Health Therapist (BHT) will provide direct services including individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans and discharge planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Addresses referrals from providers including referrals via warm hand-offs Participates in supervision and interdisciplinary team meetings to assess needs and coordinate services Maintains weekly scheduled appointments in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including external partners Completes required documentation and paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner Demonstrates cultural humility and a commitment to trauma informed care Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
While performing this work, the incumbent: Will spend substantial time standing, sitting, speaking, and listening Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds May travel via personal vehicle or public transportation to other facilities. Qualification/Experience

Additional requirements include
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and documentation.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- ability to pass background check.
- valid Pennsylvania State Driver’s License.
- TB Clearance; COVID-19 vaccination.
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related discipline.
- Act 33/34 Clearances.
To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have/be:
- Working knowledge of Clinic policies and procedures including telehealth implementation.
- Knowledge and experience with evidence-based practices, including trauma informed care framework and integrated practices.
- Knowledge and experience working with co-occurring populations (chronic health conditions, mental health, and substance use)
- Experience with children, adolescents and families is a plus.
- Strong clerical/administrative skills
- Ability to make routine decisions and determine proper action based on experience within the limits of policy and procedures.
- Demonstrated oral/written clinical skills
- Ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures, ages, and economic backgrounds in a culturally competent and sensitive manner.
Education & Licensure:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited university.
- LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or Licensed psychologist in good standing in State of Pennsylvania

Salary Ranges: Full-Time $30.00 - $ 36.00 / Part-Time $35.00 - $40.00
