Our receptionist plays an important part in the success of our practice. As our receptionist you are the face of the practice. You are the first and last impression parents and patients have of the practice.
The key functions of the receptionist are:
- Warmly greet all patients and visitors to the practice in a polite and professional manner
- Create, maintain and accurately update family file information
- Ensure that patient information update forms are completed and signed and cross referenced with current information in our system
- Ensure that New Patient information forms are completed, signed and cross referenced with information currently in our system
- Verify and enter insurance benefits
- Provide courtesy calls to confirm patient appointments and provide instructions regarding upcoming appointments
- Help schedule patients and maintain an efficient and productive schedule
- Handle incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
The most successful receptionist in our practice possess the following characteristics:

- At least 1 year of dental receptionist experience
- Knowledge of dental insurance and insurance billing
This is a full time position 7 am – 5 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am – 12 pm Friday. We have a great benefits package that includes Medical Insurance, PTO, Paid Holidays, and a 401K. Salary is dependent on your level of expertise, and skill set!
