Job Requirements
The HR Generalist will oversee the daily functions of the Human Resource department including HRIS Management, Benefit Management, Leave Management, Onboarding/Offboarding, Recruitment, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities:

Manage the HRIS System Managing and documenting all personnel changes in system.

Assisting employees with HRIS (login’s, password reset, training).

Set up new positions, position families.
-
Manage benefit profiles within HRIS.
-
Create and send imports.
-
Run ad hoc reports.

Point person for Benefits:
-
Manages Enrollment/Termination of Benefits, providing forms and documentation to eligible full-time employees for health benefits.

Submit OCA form for terminated, laid off, resignations, etc, to offer COBRA benefits.

Enforce company policies and practices:

Reviewing termination requests.

Ensure policies and procedures are being followed.

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include but not limited to safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.

Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Work Experience
- Associate degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. Experience in the field and role will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
