Zindars Property Management LLC is an efficient, fast growing real estate management and development business. We are expanding in our local market into both commercial and residential real estate management. We are a fully licensed Illinois real estate company that offers brokerage, property management, and development services in east central Illinois. One division of our business handles property management and leasing, rental maintenance and turnovers. We have a second division that redevelops property including mobile homes, apartments and single family homes. We primarily renovate distressed multifamily properties and improve occupancy and overall performance. We are looking for the right team members to join our organization.
I’m looking to fill one position which is for a qualified, experienced property manager. This position is a full-time position for our Danville, IL office. We have multiple multifamily properties in Danville, IL and the local surrounding communities and we are looking for a property manager to manage our existing portfolio. We are looking for a property management candidate with strong leadership skills, professionalism, and the ability to help our company grow substantially over the next couple of years. Starting pay would be $25-$35 per hour based on experience. Additional benefits including paid time off, vacation time, and holiday pay will be offered after initial probationary period.
Property manager will work onsite and coordinate with our main office in Danville, IL. Property manager will be responsible for maintaining strong occupancy levels, collect tenant payments, schedule work orders, and coordinate with maintenance technicians to make sure all work orders are completed in a timely manner. Property manager will work to lease vacant and turned units, and coordinate with other company leasing agents to ensure we are full occupied. Duties will include various aspects of property management for buildings and grounds including but not limited to communicating with vendors, assisting with turnover and capital improvement projects.
Property manager should be accustomed and comfortable using appfolio management software on a daily basis. We will provide in house training for the right candidate. Candidate should know how to handle the move-in and move-out work flow through appfolio, along with having the ability to successful navigate tenant resolution and risk mitigation.
Must have strong communication skills, proficient with Microsoft office, minimum 5 years experience in property management or similar field, ability to work as a team member, and general knowledge of building/grounds maintenance. Property Manager will assist with showings, conduct onsite inspections, manage turnovers, etc. Candidate must also pass a background check and have a clean driving record. Candidate must have or being willing to get an Illinois leasing or real estate broker's license within four months of employment.
Property Manager Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Degree in business, management, accounting, or real estate preferred.
- Previous experience in property management or real estate preferred.
- Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Project management experience
- Strong bookkeeping skills and attention to detail
Specials Skills:
Experience in appfolio software and show mojo leasing software. Extensive experience in the workflow of appfolio.
Accounting and quickbooks experience
Our primary schedule is 9-5 Monday through Friday. We do require occasional scheduling on weekends as needed.
Candidate must have a valid driver license, working cell phone, reliable vehicle and good work ethic. We have our headquarters in Danville, IL with a branch office in Urbana, IL. There would be some commuting between our Danville and Urbana offices. We are looking for a strong performer that is result orientated. Looking for a team player that is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and has a flexible work schedule. Background check is required.
