Front Desk Management:
Job Summary:
As a receptionist at our prestigious high-end pet resort, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for both our furry guests and their owners. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, assisting pet owners with inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the overall smooth functioning of the reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing accurate information or directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
Appointment Scheduling:
- Coordinate and schedule pet appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of resort facilities.
- Maintain an organized calendar and inform staff of any scheduling changes.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Assist pet owners with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring a seamless experience.
Pet Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each pet, including health records, special dietary requirements, and any specific instructions from pet owners.
Cash Handling:
- Handle payments for services rendered and ensure accurate processing of transactions.
- Maintain a secure and organized cash register.
Facility Tours:
- Conduct tours of the pet resort for potential clients, highlighting the premium services and amenities offered.
Communication Liaison:
- Serve as a liaison between pet owners and the various departments within the pet resort.
- Communicate effectively with pet caregivers to ensure a personalized and comfortable experience for each pet.
Maintaining Reception Area:
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Ensure the availability of necessary supplies, such as brochures and informational materials.
Adherence to Policies:
- Enforce resort policies to maintain a safe and secure environment for both pets and staff.
- Communicate any policy updates or changes to pet owners as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist roles preferred.
- Passion for and knowledge of pets, with a preference for those with experience in high-end pet care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and appointment scheduling software.
